Russell Francis is a proven company executive with strong business acumen bringing more than 27 years international experience innovating, building and commercializing next generation technology businesses.

TIMOTHY PERK, PHD

Timothy Perk, PhD., serves as the Director of Research at AIQ Solutions in Madison, Wisconsin. He provides strategic leadership, directs a team of research scientists, manages external research collaborations, and designs and implements scalable technical solutions for AIQ’s innovative products, including development of new algorithms, making improvements to process automation, and enhancing the accuracy and performance of software components. He is also an inventor on AIQ’s intellectual property. Prior to this position he served as a consultant with AIQ Solutions, advising on FDA 510(k) clearance process of their software and reviewed documents and performing quality control of image analysis.

Before his transition to industry, Dr. Perk was a Research Associate with Dr. Robert Jeraj at the University of Wisconsin. During this time, he served as Data Security officer for the Wisconsin Oncology Network for Imaging Excellence (WONIX), assisted in building the Networks for Imaging Excellence (NIX) alliance, an international alliance established for the purpose of accelerating research in quantitative imaging in medicine, and served as manager of the image analysis core (IMAC). He has been part of 13 peer-reviewed manuscripts that are published in various journals.

ERIC HORLER

Eric brings more than two decades of leadership across earlystage ventures and multinational healthcare companies to AIQ and its mission to advance technologies that help clinicians improve care for patients with latestage cancer. 

Since joining AIQ in 2018, he has guided the company through multiple rounds of equity financing, team construction, product commercialization, and international expansion. 

His background includes serving as CEO of Swallow Solutions, a medical device startup, and leading GE Healthcare’s Premium Anesthesia and Respiratory Care franchise. He also held key marketing and business development roles at Baxter Healthcare across the U.S. and Latin America. 

Eric holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University and both an MBA and a Master of Engineering Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
